Iran FM: No Military Solution to Iran Issues, Tehran Will Not Yield to Threats

During the BRICS 2026 foreign ministers meeting in New Delhi, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared that there is no military solution to issues involving Iran and that Tehran will not surrender to pressure or threats. He asserted Iran's invincibility, stating that pressure only makes the nation stronger and more united. While emphasizing Iran's commitment to diplomacy and its peace-loving nature, Araghchi warned that the country is prepared to fight with full force to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity. He characterized Iran as the wronged party rather than the aggressor. The meeting occurs against a backdrop of heightened regional tensions, including a US naval blockade imposed in April and failed permanent peace talks in Islamabad, despite an indefinite truce announced by US President Donald Trump. Araghchi stressed that Iran would respond to any future aggression with powerful and crushing force while maintaining respect in its diplomatic engagements.
