Corrections, appeals and retractions
Include the page URL, the passage or metadata at issue, the source or evidence supporting your request, and the change you believe is needed.
- Corrections: factual, translation, attribution, date or source-display errors.
- Appeals: requests to reconsider a correction decision or page status.
- Retractions: serious accuracy, provenance or publication-integrity concerns.
Copyright and privacy
For copyright requests, identify the protected work, the WorldAttention URL and your relationship to the rights holder. For privacy requests, describe the relevant account or personal information without sending passwords, access tokens or other secrets.
What happens next
Requests are reviewed against the visible source record and publication history. A correction, update or withdrawal is reflected on the affected page when the public record changes. Submitting a request does not guarantee removal or a particular outcome.
