Trump: Fallen US soldiers voiced support for Iran war

President Donald Trump claimed that US soldiers killed in the ongoing war with Iran voiced support for the attacks, stating they said 'We can't let Iran have a nuclear weapon.' The war, launched with Israel on February 28, has resulted in 18 American service member deaths and cost US taxpayers at least $37.5 billion. Trump made the remarks before attending a dignified transfer ceremony for four soldiers' remains at Dover Air Force Base. The remains included two soldiers killed in Iranian missile and drone attacks in Jordan: Tyler James Feehan, 25, and Isabella Gonzales, 19. A third soldier, Angel S. Rampersad, 28, who went missing in those attacks, and a fourth, Michael Emmanuel Swinton, 30, killed in a controlled detonation in Iraq, were also returned. Trump defended the attacks and disputed polls showing growing public opposition.
