Trump: Fallen US soldiers voiced support for Iran war

President Donald Trump claimed that US service members killed in the ongoing war with Iran voiced support for the attacks, stating they said 'We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon.' The war, launched with Israel on February 28, has resulted in 18 American deaths and cost taxpayers at least $37.5 billion. Trump made the remarks before presiding over the dignified transfer of four soldiers' remains at Dover Air Force Base. The remains included two soldiers killed in Iranian missile and drone attacks in Jordan: Tyler James Feehan, 25, and Isabella Gonzales, 19. A third soldier, Angel S. Rampersad, 28, previously missing, was also returned. The fourth, Michael Emmanuel Swinton, 30, was killed in a controlled detonation in Iraq. Trump defended the war and disputed polls showing growing public opposition.
