Spain defeated Germany 2-0 in the UEFA Men's Under-19 Championship final at Wrexham's Racecourse Ground, securing their 10th title in the competition. Goals from Hugo Lopez and Mario Rivas ensured Spain retained the trophy they won in 2024. Paco Gallardo's side dominated the eight-team tournament held over two weeks in north Wales, scoring 19 goals across five matches without conceding a single goal. Germany's Otto Stange was denied twice by Spanish goalkeeper Manu Gonzalez. Spain doubled their lead early in the second half through Rivas' header from a corner. The victory completed a double for Spain, as their women's team also beat Germany in the Women's U19 final earlier that day. Both finalists, along with semi-finalists Ukraine and Croatia, have qualified for the 2027 FIFA U20 World Cup in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
