Early Edition: July 17, 2026 – Iran War Escalates, Houthi Threats, Ukraine Shakeup
The United States launched a new wave of attacks against Iran on the sixth day of conflict, hitting bridges and a railway junction in southern Iran, killing at least seven. Iran retaliated with missile strikes against US allies including Qatar and its first direct attack in Syria, targeting a US special operations command center at al-Tanf.
