SAPO: Yermak Holds Four Diplomatic Passports, Border Data Deleted
The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) of Ukraine revealed that Andriy Yermak, former head of the Presidential Office, possesses four diplomatic passports. Furthermore, records of his international border crossings since November 20, 2025, were allegedly deleted from the Arkan state border control system. This disclosure occurred during a High Anti-Corruption Court hearing regarding Yermak's preventive measure. Prosecutors are seeking his arrest with a bail set at 180 million UAH. Yermak was recently served with a notice of suspicion for laundering approximately 460 million UAH through the construction of elite cottages near Kyiv between 2021 and 2025. The investigation links these funds to corruption schemes involving Energoatom and connects Yermak to the broader 'Midas' criminal organization case. Six other suspects, including former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Chernyshov and businessman Tymur Mindich, face similar charges. While Chernyshov was detained, Mindich fled to Israel and is now sought by Interpol. Yermak was dismissed from his presidential post in late 2028. The case highlights significant alleged corruption within Ukraine's highest political circles involving real estate development and money laundering.
