US Launches New Attacks on Iran; Air Defense Activated in Tehran for First Time
The United States has launched new attacks on Iran for the eleventh consecutive night, targeting the capital Tehran for the first time since the recent escalation began. The escalation follows previous Israeli airstrikes on Tehran in early June and Iranian retaliatory strikes on Gulf states that killed three US soldiers.
