Iran Accuses UAE of Active Partnership in War Against Tehran
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has strongly accused the United Arab Emirates of being an active partner in the war against the Islamic Republic, alleging that Abu Dhabi allowed its territory to be used for attacks on Iran. Speaking at the BRICS summit in New Delhi, Araghchi labeled UAE collusion with Israel as unforgivable. These remarks were echoed by former Iranian officials, who claimed Emirati drones participated in attacks and highlighted growing hostility from Abu Dhabi. Tensions have escalated following reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secretly visited the UAE during the recent conflict to discuss security cooperation, a claim denied by Emirati officials but insisted upon by Israeli aides. Additionally, reports suggest Mossad chief David Barnea visited the UAE multiple times for war-related coordination, and that the UAE may have conducted secret attacks on Iranian oil facilities. The delivery of Israel's Iron Dome system to the UAE has further fueled Iranian accusations of expanding military collaboration between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi, marking a significant deterioration in Tehran-Abu Dhabi relations.
