EA-37 Electronic Warfare Aircraft Deploy as Trump Weighs Large-Scale Operations Against Iran
The United States has deployed two EA-37B Compass Call electronic warfare aircraft to RAF Fairford, UK, as President Donald Trump considers resuming large-scale operations against Iran. The aircraft, the Air Force's newest EW platform, are likely to proceed to the Middle East. The deployment follows the first real-world use of EA-37s in April during Operation Epic Fury. Other assets, including B-1B bombers, F-16s, and A-10s, are also positioned in the region. The U.S. has conducted 13 consecutive days of airstrikes against Iranian military sites and resumed a naval blockade. Approximately 50,000 American troops are deployed in the Middle East, with 18 killed and over 480 wounded since the conflict began.
