According to a report from China Business Journal on September 23, citing an industry supply chain source, O-Film Technology has secured an order to supply periscope telephoto camera modules for Xiaomi's upcoming 18 Pro Max smartphone. The modules use an internal focusing solution that enables clear focusing at high magnification while maintaining a slim and lightweight design. Xiaomi's 18 Pro series, launched the same day, features a Leica-branded triple-camera system with 200-megapixel main and periscope telephoto sensors, offering up to 280% more light intake than the previous generation. O-Film had previously supplied the periscope telephoto module for Xiaomi's 17 Pro Max model.

Both the main camera and the periscope telephoto lens feature 200-megapixel large sensors, with light intake increased by up to nearly 280% compared to the previous generation.
