ConflictPolish authorities are investigating the crash of an unidentified object discovered in a field near the Ukrainian border following a night of intense Russian missile strikes on Ukraine. The object was detected entering Polish airspace at around 3:40 a.m., prompting the dispatch of an F-16 fighter, but it disappeared from radar six minutes later. Police found a crater and debris in Biłgoraj County, and counter-terrorism units along with multiple security agencies have been deployed. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk convened a coordination team with the defense minister and security services. European Council President Antonio Costa stated that the airspace violation underscores Russia's broader threat to European security and pledged EU solidarity and increased support for Ukraine's air defense capabilities.
