Victims of Jeffrey Epstein criticized acting Attorney General Todd Blanche after a meeting at the Department of Justice, calling him condescending and evasive. They accused him of treating the sit-down as a mere procedural step to secure his Senate confirmation as permanent attorney general. Senator Thom Tillis had demanded the meeting before supporting Blanche's nomination. Survivor Annie Farmer said Blanche was abrasive and noncommittal, contrasting with his public testimony.
