Zelenskyy Alarms Over Russia’s Escalating ‘Human Safari’ Drone Attacks in Kherson

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has raised urgent concerns regarding Russia’s intensifying drone campaign in the Kherson region, which locals describe as a “human safari” targeting civilians. In a recent address, Zelenskyy highlighted the severe threat posed by Russian forces operating across the Dnipro River, calling for enhanced defensive measures including more interceptors and electronic jamming systems. The article details how Russia uses the region to test new drone tactics, with weekly deployments doubling from 2,500 to approximately 5,500 drones compared to the previous year. These attacks, often conducted using camera-guided FPV and Shahed drones, aim to depopulate the area by striking vehicles, ambulances, and public transport.
