Wizz Air to Resume Tel Aviv Flights in 2026 and Expand Fleet

Budget airline Wizz Air has announced it will resume flight operations to and from Tel Aviv starting May 28, 2026. This decision follows recent updates from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and ongoing coordination with security authorities, emphasizing the carrier's commitment to safe operations. Concurrently, Wizz Air confirmed a significant fleet expansion milestone with the delivery of its 200th Airbus A321neo aircraft, specifically an A321XLR model. This addition supports the airline's strategy to maintain one of the industry's most modern and efficient fleets, aiming for an all-neo fleet by 2029. The new aircraft features next-generation Pratt and Whitney engines, offering reduced fuel consumption and lower carbon emissions.
