Silverpush Helps Epitaph Group Win Gold and Silver at Cannes Lions 2026 with AI-Driven Campaign for Kids Help Phone
Silverpush, a contextual intelligence company, announced that its agency partner Epitaph Group and McCann Canada won two Gold and one Silver Media Lions at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2026. The awards were for a campaign with Kids Help Phone, a Canadian charity. The campaign used Silverpush's AI-driven contextual intelligence to reverse the algorithm on YouTube, targeting content traditionally deemed brand-unsafe to reach vulnerable young people in moments of need. The wins included Gold for Use of Data and Analytics, Gold for Data Integration, and Silver for Audience Insights. Media Lions president Sindhuja Rai noted that if not for Cannes rules barring charities from Grand Prix consideration, the campaign might have won the top prize. The campaign was built around mental health discourse and emotional distress signals, combining AI with human review.
