Police Clash with Activists Protesting Maersk's Arms Shipments to Israel in Copenhagen

Danish police intervened harshly against more than 100 activists protesting in front of the Maersk shipping company headquarters in Copenhagen. The protest was grounded in findings by the research outlet Danwatch, which revealed that fourteen Maersk container ships had transported thousands of tons of military cargo to Israel on forty-three separate occasions between October 2023 and September 2024. The activists emphasized that these logistical operations constituted direct support for Israel's military actions in Gaza.
