German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg and Greek champions AEK Athens have reached an agreement for the transfer of Croatian midfielder Lovro Majer. The 28-year-old is set to move to the Greek Super League side for a transfer fee of six million euros, pending a successful medical and final contract signing. Majer is expected to sign a contract with AEK Athens that will keep him at the club until 2030. The deal represents a significant outgoing transfer for Wolfsburg, who were relegated from the Bundesliga at the end of the previous season.
