Jack Grealish left out of Manchester City pre-season squad due to foot injury
Manchester City winger Jack Grealish has been omitted from the club's pre-season tour of Asia as he continues to recover from a foot injury sustained during his loan spell at Everton in the 2025/26 season. The 30-year-old returned to City this summer after his loan was cut short. New manager Enzo Maresca confirmed Grealish remains a City player and that he has a good relationship with him, but his injury prevents him from joining the squad for matches against Inter Milan, K-League All-Stars, and Atletico Madrid. With only one year left on his contract, former Aston Villa star Gabby Agbonlahor has suggested Grealish may leave City this summer, possibly moving to another European club or returning to Everton. Grealish has made 157 appearances for City since his £100m transfer from Aston Villa, winning three Premier League titles and a Champions League.
