Indian Nurse from Gadag Dies in Riyadh Road Accident
Gladys Anand Kumar Hubballi, a 39-year-old nurse from Gadag district in Karnataka, India, died in a road accident in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on July 14, 2026. She was on her way to work at a hospital when an unidentified vehicle ran her over. Family sources reported the incident to the Gadag Police. Indian-origin social activists in Riyadh, including Hamid Padubidri, Shareef Karkala, Santosh Shetty, and Shihab Kottukad, are coordinating with government agencies to repatriate her body. Hubballi had moved to Saudi Arabia three years ago. She is survived by her husband Anand Kumar, who works in a private workshop, and their three children.
