DFB Stars Return: Bayern Munich World Cup Players Begin Pre-Season Training
Four weeks after Germany's World Cup round-of-32 exit against Paraguay, the German national team players of FC Bayern Munich have begun their pre-season preparation. On Monday morning, nine World Cup participants, including Joshua Kimmich, Manuel Neuer, and new signing Nathaniel Brown, started with fitness tests at a Munich hospital and at the club's Säbener Straße training ground. After the tests, the players will join the training camp at Tegernsee from July 27-30, including a friendly against FC Rottach-Egern. Other World Cup participants like Luis Díaz, Konrad Laimer, and Josip Stanisic will join later, while stars Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala, and new signing Ismael Saibari will only return after the Asia tour to South Korea and Hong Kong (August 1-8). Injured players Serge Gnabry and Lennart Karl will remain in Munich for rehabilitation.
