He also attended and delivered a speech at the High-Level Dialogue on the Global Development Initiative (GDI), marking the fifth anniversary of the initiative, where he read out a congratulatory letter from President Xi Jinping.

During his meeting with Guterres, Han Zheng noted that the current international landscape is marked by turbulence and intertwined challenges, with the UN-centered international system facing multiple tests.
