September 23 (Jin10 Data) — According to Yonhap News Agency, South Korea's birth population in July rose 11.1% compared to the same month last year, marking the 25th consecutive month of year-on-year increase.
Data released by the Korea National Data Office on September 23 shows that the number of newborns in July totaled 24,275, the highest for the month of July since 2019, when 25,222 babies were born. In the same period last year, the figure stood at 21,854.
