On September 23, the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party announced a reshuffle of top provincial leadership positions. Li Lecheng has been appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Anhui Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Anhui Provincial Committee, replacing Liang Yanshun, who has been removed from his posts. Zhou Zuyi has been appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Henan Provincial Committee, and has been removed from his previous role as Fujian's party chief. Liu Ning has been removed from his positions as Henan's party chief. Additionally, Zhao Long has been appointed as the Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Committee. Anhui Province
- Li Lecheng has been appointed as a member, standing committee member, and secretary of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China.
- Liang Yanshun has been removed from the positions of secretary, standing committee member, and member of the Anhui Provincial Committee.
Henan Province
- Zhou Zuyi has been appointed as a member, standing committee member, and secretary of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. He has also been removed from his previous positions as secretary, standing committee member, and member of the Fujian Provincial Committee.
- Liu Ning has been removed from the positions of secretary, standing committee member, and member of the Henan Provincial Committee.
Fujian Province
- Zhao Long has been appointed as secretary of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China.
