Brand Refresh
In a brand renewal initiative, Juneyao Air and Airbus jointly announced a customized cabin upgrade plan for 25 of its A320 series aircraft. The first aircraft featuring the new cabin design are scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2028. Additionally, Juneyao Air's brand visual identity will be refreshed in a more youthful style, while in-flight announcements and music will also be updated to infuse the journey with Shanghai-style cultural charm.
Service Enhancements
Juneyao Air's "2+1" VIP lounge strategy has achieved its phased goals. From Hongqiao V6 and Pudong T2 International No. 72 to the upcoming "Sijin" VIP lounge at Pudong T2 Domestic No. 86 (scheduled for August 2026), the airline has standardized and ensured consistent VIP service experiences across Shanghai's two major airports.
The airline has also comprehensively upgraded its care service program for special-needs passengers. Since the beginning of this year, Juneyao Air has served nearly 70,000 such passengers, including approximately 17,000 unaccompanied minors. Furthermore, its "Mengchong Fei" pet-in-cabin service now covers 50 airports nationwide and nearly 100 routes, with nearly 3,500 pet-in-cabin services completed to date.
Transit Hub Upgrades
Leveraging its network of over 260 routes serving more than 100 cities across 15 countries and regions, Juneyao Air has accelerated the upgrade of its transit hubs. From 2024 to the end of July 2026, the airline has served nearly 920,000 transit passengers. In the first seven months of this year, international transit passengers (including international-to-international and international-to-domestic) approached 240,000, accounting for nearly 90% of the airline's total transit volume, making it the dominant segment of its transit business.
