According to data released by the Asset Management Association of China (AMAC) on September 18, the total assets under management (AUM) of publicly offered funds in China reached 39.63 trillion yuan at the end of August 2026, an increase of 529.309 billion yuan from July. Hybrid funds contributed the largest increment, rising by 256.793 billion yuan month-on-month to 4.09 trillion yuan. Money market funds increased by 147.680 billion yuan to 16.31 trillion yuan.
