Zheng Shanjie's Response
Zheng Shanjie carefully listened to the briefings and suggestions, engaged in in-depth exchanges with the enterprises, and responded to their concerns on the spot.
He stated that private investment is a crucial component of the high-quality development of the private economy and a strong support for expanding effective investment. Currently, China's private investment is at a critical stage of structural optimization and momentum conversion. While difficulties and challenges exist, there is even greater space and potential.
"It is essential to maintain confidence, especially during transitional periods," Zheng said. He expressed hope that private entrepreneurs would seize opportunities, innovate, and advance, actively increasing investment in emerging industries, new infrastructure, and consumption upgrades — thereby promoting the conversion of old and new growth drivers and better serving overall economic and social development.
NDRC's Next Steps
The NDRC will thoroughly implement the decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. Focusing on key industries and sectors where private enterprises have strong investment willingness and significant growth potential, the Commission will adopt targeted and pragmatic measures to enhance private enterprises' sense of gain, encouraging private capital to invest with confidence, feasibility, and greater participation.
At the same time, the NDRC will:
- Continuously improve the mechanism for regular communication and exchange with private enterprises
- Regularly recommend high-quality investment projects by industry and sector
- Orderly open application scenarios in key fields
- Effectively promote the close integration of hard investment and soft construction
- Continuously optimize the investment environment and expand investment channels
These measures aim to promote the high-quality development of the private economy through a multi-pronged approach.
