In an exclusive development, Robinhood Markets has agreed to integrate Kalshi's yes-or-no prediction contracts onto its trading platform. As part of the deal, Robinhood will also acquire minority stakes in both the digital-currency exchange and its prediction-markets business. This strategic partnership allows Robinhood to expand its product offerings into event-driven trading, while Kalshi gains access to Robinhood's large user base. The agreement signals growing convergence between traditional retail trading platforms and emerging prediction markets, which allow users to bet on the outcomes of various events, from economic data releases to political elections. The financial terms of the minority stake investments were not disclosed in the announcement. The move positions Robinhood to compete more directly with other platforms offering alternative assets and derivatives, while providing Kalshi with a major distribution channel and capital infusion.
