Prediction market platform Kalshi has announced a partnership with Alpaca, a brokerage and financial infrastructure startup, to facilitate its international expansion. Through this collaboration, individuals and businesses using Alpaca's brokerage infrastructure will gain access to Kalshi's prediction market platform. Alpaca, based in Silicon Valley, recently secured a U.S. brokerage license allowing it to facilitate orders for derivatives contracts. The company has partnerships with over 300 financial institutions and reaches 14 million brokerage accounts worldwide. Kalshi, a privately held U.S.-based company, is seeking to grow its presence outside the United States. This follows a previous partnership in June 2026 with Canadian financial firm Wealthsimple to bring prediction markets to Canada.
