FinanceHalliburton (NYSE: HAL) has been awarded an integrated services contract by bp for the first appraisal campaign at the Bumerangue field in deepwater offshore Brazil. Under the agreement, Halliburton will provide drilling services, reservoir evaluation, and deploy its LOGIX automation and remote operations technology, along with advanced drilling tools and digital capabilities. The project will incorporate data and artificial intelligence technologies to deliver real-time operational insights. Francisco Tarazona, senior vice president for Latin America at Halliburton, stated that the award reflects the company's ability to execute complex deepwater projects through digital solutions, integrated service delivery, and local expertise.
