TechSpaceX has finalized its $60 billion acquisition of AI coding startup Cursor, which was first announced in April and committed to in June. The two companies had already been collaborating closely, including jointly training Grok 4.5 and 4.6 using trillions of tokens of Cursor data. Cursor gained access to SpaceX's Colossus supercomputer, powered by 200,000 Nvidia GPUs, to dramatically scale up its model intelligence. SpaceX also released a new AI agent called Grok Bot on Tuesday, available to SuperGrok Heavy users, Cursor Ultra subscribers, and Cursor Premium Teams. Recent Grok releases are now included as first-party models in Cursor's system.
