The company found over a dozen high-severity vulnerabilities, including reused passwords and disabled firewalls, but no evidence of vote manipulation or foreign interference. The Trump administration initially planned to expand the team from 10 to 60 people and authorized follow-on work ahead of the midterms. However, the contract was abruptly terminated after the findings did not support claims of election manipulation.
