FinanceIntel is raising $19.7 billion through a public stock offering of 210.5 million shares at $95 each, with an option for banks to purchase an additional 31.6 million shares, potentially bringing total proceeds to $23 billion. The company plans to use the funds for capital expenditures, working capital, and expansion of manufacturing capacity, including ramping up Fab 52 in Arizona and building a $100 billion fab complex in Ohio. The offering attracted $100 billion in demand, according to Bloomberg. Intel specifically cited the need to support its next-generation 14A process technology, set for mass production in 2028, and to secure design wins from major external foundry customers. The company's market capitalization has surged from $90 billion to $491 billion, making the timing favorable for the sale. The transaction is expected to close on August 12, 2026.
