Mauricio Pochettino has signed a contract extension to remain head coach of the United States men's national soccer team through the 2030 World Cup, US Soccer announced on August 3, 2026. The 54-year-old Argentine took over in 2024 and led the US to the round of 16 at the recently concluded 2026 World Cup, which the US co-hosted with Canada and Mexico.
