Russian missile violates Polish airspace, crashes in Lublin region

During a massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine overnight on July 30, 2026, a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile crossed into Poland, violating NATO airspace, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. The Polish Operational Command of the Armed Forces (DORSZ) reported detecting an unidentified object and scrambled an F-16 fighter jet for reconnaissance and interception. The object disappeared from radar, and a Mi-24 helicopter later located the crash site in an uninhabited area near the village of Tarnawa-Kolonia in the Lublin Voivodeship.
