PoliticsSenators Elizabeth Warren and Adam Schiff have formally requested the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investigate Trump Media & Technology Group's new 'Truth API' service, which provides paying subscribers real-time, faster access to President Donald Trump's Truth Social posts. The Democratic lawmakers argue the service could violate insider trading and market manipulation laws, as Trump's posts frequently move global markets and promote individual stocks. The service, priced up to $100,000 per month, is set to launch on August 1. Trump Media trades on Nasdaq as DJT, and Trump's family remains the largest stakeholder. The SEC has declined to comment, and Trump Media did not respond to requests for comment.
