SportsPortuguese newspaper Record reports that Sporting CP is negotiating the sale of 22-year-old center-back Ousmane Diomande to Nottingham Forest. The English club has offered €38 million plus €4 million in performance bonuses, but Sporting insists on a minimum of €40 million plus €5 million in add-ons. A deal is expected by the end of the week, with the player set to join coach Oliver Glasner. Separately, midfielder Matheus Potts is set to join Saudi club Al-Ittihad for €30 million, with the player earning over €10 million annually. Sporting has already signed Ibrahima Ba from Famalicão to replace Diomande. The club also plans to sign a left-back and a winger, having submitted a €15 million plus €5 million offer for Australian winger Irankunda from Watford.
