Tyson Fury caused a stir during his second comeback fight after retiring multiple times, kissing opponent Mariusz Wach of Poland in the middle of the 6th round in Thailand. The 'Gypsy King' dominated the bout and won by technical knockout in the 7th round. The fight was not televised. Fury had attempted to kiss Wach at the weigh-in and pulled a similar stunt against Germany's Tom Schwarz in 2019. Despite the victory, doubts remain about Fury's physical readiness for a major comeback. Fans hope for a fight against Anthony Joshua, who is scheduled to fight Kristian Prenga in Riyadh. Fury's promoter Frank Warren stated that financial considerations will be the primary motivator for a potential Joshua bout, saying Fury has a price in mind and will fight where the money is.
Source report
Tyson Fury caused a stir in his second fight since returning from retirement in April. During the sixth round of his bout against Poland's Mariusz Wach in Thailand, the "Gypsy King" kissed his opponent in the middle of the fight.
The moment was the highlight of a contest Fury dominated throughout, winning by technical knockout in the seventh round. The former world champion was so far ahead that he could afford such antics. Notably, the fight in Thailand was not broadcast on television.
Fury appeared particularly taken with his opponent. He had already attempted to kiss Wach at the weigh-in before the fight. He performed a similar stunt in 2019 against Germany's Tom Schwarz, whom he also defeated decisively.

Doubts Remain Despite Victory
Despite his second win since returning to the ring, questions persist about whether Fury is physically capable of making a major breakthrough again. Fans dream of another fight against former world champion Anthony Joshua.
However, Joshua will first compete in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, against Albania's Kristian Prenga. Should Joshua win, a bout between the two British heavyweights is expected in November.
The Money Question
The biggest obstacle to a Fury-Joshua fight appears to be financial, not Fury's form. Promoter Frank Warren stated:
"What will motivate Tyson is the financial aspect. I believe he can beat AJ – and Tyson and his team share that view. It's mainly about the value of the fight. It's a big fight with a lot of money at stake. Tyson has his price in mind. If he gets that price, he'll step into the ring and fight him. The money will decide where the fight takes place – it's that simple. They'll go where the money is. They're professional boxers; they step into the ring and get beaten for money."
Until then, Fury has ample time to get back into shape.
