SportsHamburger SV has announced the signing of Bilal Nadir, a 22-year-old Franco-Moroccan midfielder who left Olympique de Marseille this summer after five years at the club. Nadir, who made 53 appearances for Marseille since 2023, was a free agent and has committed to a long-term contract with Hamburg. He successfully passed his medical examination. Hamburg, which secured its Bundesliga place by finishing 13th last season, already has several French-speaking players including Jean-Luc Dompé, Rayan Philippe, Warmed Omari, and new signing Martin Adeline. Hamburg's football director Claus Costa expressed confidence in Nadir's experience and potential, stating the club believes he can immediately enrich their game and has strong growth potential.
