German national team player David Raum (28) has released his debut single 'My Body' under the alias DJ ROOMER, a deep house track created with other artists. The song is described by insiders as a masterpiece of deep, rolling house music suitable for late-night dancefloors. Raum, who also runs a fashion label called 'Vorgrace', said music provides a great balance to football. On the sporting side, Raum is returning to RB Leipzig after the World Cup, where Germany was eliminated after four matches. His contract runs until 2027, and RB Leipzig wants to extend it long-term. Talks are expected during pre-season preparation. Raum has previously expressed interest in a Premier League move, but his market value may not have increased due to Germany's early World Cup exit. He faces a potential free transfer in 2027 if no agreement is reached, similar to former teammates Konrad Laimer and Xaver Schlager.
Source report
It is an exciting time for German national player David Raum (28). Not only is the latest collection from his fashion label "Vorgrace" going on sale this Friday, but his debut single as DJ ROOMER is also being released.
The track, titled "My Body," was created in collaboration with other artists and is designed to get people dancing with its hypnotic groove.
Insiders describe the song as "a masterpiece of deep, rolling house, tailor-made for the late hours and the hazy dancefloors of after-parties. The track is carried by a hypnotic groove and a powerful, surging bassline."
Raum recently spoke about his musical pursuits in an interview with BILD:
"It's a great balance for me. In music, I'm DJ ROOMER, and on the pitch, I'm Raum. I want to keep that separate. I want to continue exploring my potential as a music producer and DJ in the future."

Sporting Future Remains Open
On the sporting side, the RB Leipzig captain will return to the club next week after his World Cup vacation. His future, however, remains uncertain.
- Contract: Runs until summer 2027
- Club stance: RB Leipzig would like to tie him down long-term and has already held talks with his advisors
- Raum's position: He initially postponed a decision with a view to the World Cup
According to BILD information, talks are expected to resume during the preparation period. Raum has repeatedly flirted with a move to the Premier League in the past. However, because Germany disappointed at the World Cup and was eliminated after just four games, his market value is unlikely to have increased. Raum played in two of the four matches, starting once.
The national player, who joined from Hoffenheim in 2022 for €26 million, would have to sign one of the new, strongly performance-based contracts for the first time. On the other hand, he enjoys great appreciation at the club, is a regular starter, and is firmly established on the left side — even as Max Finkgräfe (22) increasingly applies pressure.

Ideally, all parties will sit down at the table and find an agreement. Otherwise, RB faces the prospect of a free transfer departure in summer 2027. This has recently been the case with Konrad Laimer (29/Bayern) and Xaver Schlager (28/Nottingham) — both of whom, incidentally, are represented by the same advisory agency as Raum.
