PwC China has opened its AI Innovation Centre in Shanghai, positioning the new facility as a "key engine" of AI-led value creation.
The centre brings together internal research and development capabilities alongside broad-based industry support to create AI solutions tailored to local market demand. It draws on PwC's global network, linking domestic innovation with international best practices.
According to a company statement released on 22 July, the centre aims to help companies across sectors capture AI opportunities and generate measurable commercial value.

More than 100 attendees took part in the official launch event, including representatives from:

Panel discussions followed the inauguration, during which PwC China released its 2026 Intelligent Robotic white paper.
