SportsDutch international winger Crysencio Summerville, 24, has completed a €80 million transfer from West Ham United to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, rejecting interest from AS Roma, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United. The deal, announced on July 24, 2026, makes Summerville the most expensive Dutch player in history, surpassing Frenkie de Jong's €86 million move to Barcelona in 2019. Summerville signed a four-year contract with Al-Hilal, joining the club at its training camp in Austria. He had joined West Ham for nearly €30 million in summer 2024 and recently performed well at the World Cup with 2 goals and 2 assists. Al-Hilal, runners-up in the Saudi Pro League, has been active in the transfer market, recently signing Karim Benzema.
