Streaming service Paramount+ has announced the release date of the fantasy animated series Avatar: Seven Havens at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 on Thursday, July 23, 2026. The show will be released globally on the streamer on October 9, 2026. Its first look teaser was also unveiled during the event.
Avatar: Seven Havens is the third original series in the popular fantasy franchise and tells the story of a young Earthbender, Pavi, who discovers she’s the new Avatar in a world that is coming to terms with newer devastations. In this world, the Avatar is seen as a destroyer of humanity, which compels Pavi to embark on a journey alongside her separated twin sister to bring reparation to society. The teaser offers a glimpse into this, promising a grimmer world compared to the earlier shows in the franchise.
Created by Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, the voice acting cast includes:

The franchise began with Avatar: The Last Airbender, which premiered on Nickelodeon in 2005 and aired for three seasons before concluding in 2008. Set in a fantasy world, the show draws inspiration from ancient Asian cultures, where humans have the power to manipulate air, water, fire, and earth through martial arts practices known as bending.
After a successful run of the animated series, a live-action adaptation was released in 2010, followed by a 2024 remake on Netflix. A sequel series, The Legend of Korra, was released in 2012 and ran for four seasons. Avatar: Seven Havens takes place after the events of The Legend of Korra.
