John Solomon, a member of President Trump's election task force and a prominent election fraud conspiracy theorist, acknowledged in an interview that the U.S. intelligence community has found zero evidence that foreign powers altered votes in the 2020, 2022, or 2024 elections. He also stated there is no intelligence showing Venezuela tampered with U.S. voting machines. This admission came shortly after Trump delivered a primetime speech accusing China and Venezuela of election interference and calling for the SAVE America Act. Separately, Trump declassified documents confirming Russia interfered in the 2020 election in his favor by promoting claims about Hunter Biden and mail-in voting conspiracies. The article also reports that Truth Social, owned by Trump Media & Technology Group, announced a new product called Truth API, which would provide Wall Street firms early access to Trump's social media posts, effectively enabling insider trading. The company's board includes Trump's personal attorney and Donald Trump Jr.

Not even President Trump's own election fraud task force member could substantiate claims that votes in the last three general and midterm elections were tampered with.
During an interview following Trump's Thursday night speech, MSNBC's Vaughn Hill pressed John Solomon—a conspiracy theorist who now sits on the White House's election task force—on the president's allegations.
"Can you acknowledge that there were no votes changed in 2020?" Hill asked.
"All I can acknowledge is what the intelligence shows. I only know—the intelligence community has zero evidence that ... a foreign power flipped the vote in 2020, '22, or '24," Solomon replied.
"And you're able to acknowledge that Venezuela has not tampered with voting machines in the United States?"
"No, the intelligence is very clear: They did it on their own machines," Solomon said before ending the interview.
Trump used his primetime address to accuse China of "illicit acquisition of 220 million U.S. voter files." He claimed there was a "specific plot to do a big number in favor of the corrupt Maduro regime in Venezuela" and argued that no vote would be safe unless his restrictive SAVE America Act was passed.
Yet Solomon—a MAGA journalist who has built a career manufacturing consent for Trump's claims—could not even partially back up this assertion.
That likely stems from Trump's own intelligence failing to support it. Alongside his speech, Trump declassified documents confirming that Russia interfered in Trump's favor by pushing claims about Hunter Biden and promoting conspiracies about the reliability of mail-in voting.

Truth Social Launches "Truth API" Product Critics Call Sanitized Insider Trading
The thin veil historically obscuring government corruption has been discarded. Under the current Trump administration, blatant ethical misconduct is now operating in the open.
Truth Social executives announced Thursday that the company would sell Wall Street firms premier access to Donald Trump's market-moving online posts, granting traders an advantage over the general public in anticipating stock market fluctuations driven by the president's social media activity.
The product, marketed as "Truth API," appears designed to generate quick revenue by commercializing what critics describe as insider trading—an illegal activity actively investigated by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Truth API is expected to provide continuous 24/7 coverage, along with access to an archive of the president's posts dating back to 2022.
Truth Social is owned by Trump Media & Technology Group. Its board of directors is led by Boris Epshteyn—one of the president's personal attorneys—and Donald Trump Jr., according to the company's website.
"Markets already move on Truth Social posts," said Kevin McGurn, interim executive chief officer of Trump Media, in a statement. "As adoption grows, we expect Truth API to become a meaningful, ongoing source of revenue for the company, creating lasting value for shareholders."
This is far from the first time the Trump family has attempted to leverage political power for financial gain. Trump has profited since reassuming office through:
- Stock trading
- Cryptocurrency ventures
- Lawsuits against news media organizations
Before that, he maintained a long list of election-year hustles, including:
- Launching a notably expensive sneaker
- Promoting a limited-edition, $60 "God Bless the USA Bible" co-promoted by singer Lee Greenwood—a Bible ultimately forced on Oklahoma public schools by the state's MAGA superintendent at taxpayer expense
Trump's sons have also joined in. In April, Eric Trump openly boasted about winning a multimillion-dollar defense contract from his father's administration. Donald Trump Jr. and his brother have also invested in multiple defense-related ventures.
