Trillion Energy International Inc. has finalized plans for a 40-kilometre 2D seismic survey on its M47c,d oil block in southeastern Türkiye, with acquisition targeted for late summer 2026. The program covers three priority exploration areas: the South Lead and the North field discovery area around the Çetinkaya-1 and Çetinkaya-2 wells. The survey builds on a recently completed gravity study that confirmed significant fault-related structures. The North Discovery carries a 2C Contingent Resource of 27.6 million barrels, with an unrisked NPV-10 of US$733.5 million. Trillion's three prospects hold total unrisked resource potential of 51.6 million barrels net to the company. The company expects to complete the seismic acquisition over approximately six weeks, with data interpreted afterward to finalize new well locations for upcoming drilling programs.

Trillion Energy International Inc. (CSE:TCF, OTCQB:TRLEF, FRA:Z620) has finalized plans for a new 40-kilometre 2D seismic survey on its M47c,d oil block in southeastern Türkiye, with acquisition targeted for late summer 2026.
Program Details
The program covers three priority exploration areas:
- South Lead — along the southeastern boundary
- North Field Discovery Area — including the area around the Çetinkaya-1 and Çetinkaya-2 wells
The company stated that the new lines are designed to assist future drilling, development, and exploration on the block. Tender documents have been prepared for relevant contractors.
Design and Preparation
The survey design builds on the company's recently completed field scouting and high-resolution gravity study, which confirmed significant fault-related structures and priority leads across the license. The seismic lines have been positioned to tie into recent discoveries on the adjacent block. Advance site preparation is expected to shorten the acquisition schedule and lower program costs.
Timeline
Trillion expects to acquire the seismic data during late summer 2026 and complete the program over approximately a six-week period, with data interpretation to follow.
Management Commentary
"New seismic acquisition significantly advances the commercialization and exploration of the M47 Block forward," said Scott Lower, President of Trillion Energy.

"Some of the most important and prospective areas of the block have not been sufficiently imaged to date. Once it is interpreted, new well locations may be finalized for the upcoming drilling programs as we move one step closer to commerciality and sustained production."
Resource Potential
- North Discovery carries a 2C Contingent Resource of 27.6 MMbbl, with an unrisked NPV-10 of US$733.5 million
- The area lies approximately 11 km from the Şehit Aybüke Yalçın oil field, Türkiye's largest onshore oil discovery
- A light oil discovery was confirmed at 32.4° API gravity, with 38 metres of net oil pay at the C-1 discovery well
Trillion's three prospects hold a total unrisked resource potential of 51.6 MMbbl net to the company, including a North Prospect 3C estimate valued at an unrisked NPV-10 of US$1.18 billion. This is in the Gabar region, which has yielded seven new analog oil field discoveries over the past five years. Those analog fields are producing a combined 80,000+ bbl/d, while appraisal work assessed 578,213 MSTB PIIP on a 100% interest basis.
