Wizz Air to Resume Bucharest–Tel Aviv Flights Earlier Than Planned

Wizz Air has announced it will restart flight operations between Bucharest and Tel Aviv earlier than originally scheduled, with services commencing on May 28, 2026. The Romanian-based low-cost carrier stated that the route, departing from Bucharest Otopeni Airport, will initially operate five times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Starting September 22, the frequency is set to increase to two daily flights. Tickets are currently available for purchase via the airline’s website and mobile application, with fares starting at RON 359. This resumption of service aims to restore direct connectivity between Tel Aviv and various destinations within Wizz Air’s European network, particularly reconnecting Israel with Central and Eastern Europe.
