White Supremacist Leader Sentenced to 15 Years for Plot to Poison NYC Jewish Children

Michail Chkhikvishvili, the leader of the Georgian white supremacist group Maniac Murder Cult (MKY), was sentenced to 15 years in prison by a US court for plotting racial mass killings. The Department of Justice announced that Chkhikvishvili, also known as Commander Butcher, pleaded guilty to soliciting hate crimes and providing instructions for creating bombs and ricin. His schemes included a plan to poison Jewish school children in Brooklyn with ricin-laced candy during a holiday and a New Year’s Eve attack targeting minorities. Extradited from Moldova in May 2024, Chkhikvishvili had attempted to recruit an undercover FBI agent to commit arson and bombings. Authorities highlighted his distribution of the Hater’s Handbook, which encourages school shootings and ethnic cleansing. The sentencing follows evidence linking MKY ideology to recent violent incidents, including a Nashville school shooting. National Security Assistant Attorney General John Eisenberg stated the sentence removes a dangerous threat from society, emphasizing that individuals planning antisemitic and racially motivated violence will face severe legal consequences regardless of their location.
