Wheat Futures Decline Amid Broader Commodity Selloff
Wheat futures experienced midday losses on Monday, July 27, 2026, with Chicago SRW contracts falling 15-16 cents, KC HRW down 14 cents, and MPLS spring wheat slipping 7-8.25 cents. The weekly Commitment of Traders data indicated managed money in CBT wheat futures and options reduced their net short position by 17,449 contracts to 19,349 contracts, while in KC wheat, they added 12,450 contracts to their net long position, now at 29,944 contracts.
