Ukrainian Forces Strike Russian Tor System, Yastreb Radar, and Logistics Facilities
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that its defense units conducted successful strikes against multiple high-value Russian military assets on May 13 and during the night of May 13-14, 2026. The operations targeted critical air defense and surveillance equipment, including a Tor surface-to-air missile system near Stary Oskol and a Yastreb counter-battery radar station near Novosyolovka in Russia's Belgorod Oblast. Additionally, Ukrainian forces disrupted Russian command and control capabilities by hitting a Redut-2US mobile communications system near Frolivske in Donetsk Oblast and a communications hub in Kinski Rozdory, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The strikes also extended to logistical infrastructure, with hits recorded on a storage point in Perevalne, located in temporarily occupied Crimea, and a repair unit in Hromivka, Kherson Oblast. These coordinated attacks aim to degrade Russian operational capabilities by eliminating key air defense systems, radar surveillance, and supply chain nodes across several frontline and rear areas.
