Ukrainian Forces Strike Russian Air Defense and Radar in Belgorod Region

Units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces successfully executed strikes against multiple Russian military assets across several regions, including the Belgorod region and occupied Crimea. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the operations took place on May 13 and during the night of May 14, 2026. In the Belgorod region, Ukrainian forces targeted and hit a Tor surface-to-air missile system near Stary Oskol and a Yastreb counter-battery radar station near Novosyolovka. Additionally, strikes were conducted against a mobile communications complex, Redut-2US, near Frolivske in the Donetsk region, and a Russian communications hub in Kinski Rozdory within the Zaporizhzhia region. The offensive also extended to southern territories, where a logistics and material supply warehouse in Perevalne, Crimea, and a repair unit in Hromivka, Kherson region, were struck. These actions represent significant blows to Russian air defense capabilities, communication networks, and logistical supply lines.
